Out of all the alternatives to replace the classic Windows Notepad, we offer you TextPad. It's a text editor, that may seem simple, but is actually very complete and configurable.
Version 5.3.1 was released with several bug fixes and new features. The most important ones are the addition of text edition in several languages, an improvement of the Find command for text strings, hot keys to access tool settings from TextPad, and an optional toolbar for printing.
